Concept
- We organized a series of breast cancer awareness training for women in Yakot in the Nabdam District in 2022.
- We support our widows with veterinary services by getting the veterinary officers to come to the communities to treat their animals and birds.
Challenges & Solutions
- Maaltaaba has also encouraged its members to contest the District Assembly elections. We currently have two of our members contesting the District Assembly elections in the Bongo District. We are supporting them by giving them inspirational talks and by sharing the experience of the Executive Director, Madame Lydia Miyella, as a two-term Assembly Member in the Talensi District.
